This video tackles the Diosdado Macapagal Highway or the Surigao - Davao Coastal Road from the Davao Oriental Arc (Banaybanay) to Mati City. One of the my farthest ever documentation in the Philippines and a joyride in the series of my Mindanao Joyride series. One of the famous scenery on this road is the Balete and Pujada Bay and the Dinosaur Island. It looks like a dinosaur sleeping hehehe. One of the best place i ever went to in the entire Philippines due to the seclusion, less people, beautiful white sand, perfect tropical weather and far from any noise. I left my heart on Mati City hope to meet you again :-) [you know who you are i forgot to introduce myself] Special thanks to Mishael Pubelas, Jaiam Sarabillo, Dean Siapno and Pat Evangelista As of documentation: (not the driver t...

For the past eight years, the Province of Davao Oriental journeyed from a bleak path to a more progressive and dynamic province. The transformation was made through good governance, self-determination and strong political will under the leadership of Governor Corazon N. Malanyaon who took the gubernatorial seat in 2007. Driving along the coast of Davao Oriental I found my #BecomingFilipino journey in the capital city of the province of Davao Oriental... Mati! From waking up in the morning with delicious and cheap empanadas, to hanging out on dahican beach attempting skim boarding... and of course... to finding DAVOR!! The Whale... Mati is another hidden gem! It is a beautiful place! I couldn't believe that I was there on a weekend!? The beach still had barely anyone on it! If you love surfing there is some great break and the locals will be happy to help you out! It is such an amazing place to just kick back and relax! As they say... "The Stress Free Zone" I will be back Mati! I will be back very soon! Oh and if you are looking for a Skim boarding and Surfing Legend... just find "Master Bang...
"Check out Cateel Kulas"... That was one of the messages I received from a Filipino for my #BecomingFilipino journey. WOW!! Was I ever happy that I followed that message and ended up in Cateel, Davao Oriental! To think just two years ago the town and people in the area were hit hard by Typhoon Pablo... I can only imagine what they have been through... but adventuring around the area I am so proud of their attitudes and happiness towards life! Cateel is stunning! It has some absolutely EPIC waterfalls! I am not going to say anymore... Davao Oriental... Super Ayus!! Super Apir!

Wish you told me by and by,
That my life would come to this,
That I'd have to find a way
to let things go,
That my friends would turn to foes,
And my love would come to blows,
Then I would have done some things
I would ask you out every night.
And I would make you feel so good.
And appreciate the things that
you bring to me, babe.
Oh yes I would, oh yeah.
Yeah, I know you tried and tried,
But your signal I just missed,
When you said my little girl
would soon be gone,
Yes I didn't hear you then,
And it might be too late now,
That's another thing I'd do
Like trying to make you feel
loved every day.
And saying little things to
let you know how I feel.
Yes I can hear your young
voice calling me, babe.
Oh yes I can.
When I 'm away I call you up,
And you don't seem to miss me as much,
But I know our love
is still there in your heart,
Oh yes, I can hear your young
voice calling me, babe.
Oh yes I can.
I'd appreciate the things that you
bring to me babe, yes I would.
Oh come on back to me babe,
bring your love back to me.
Oh yeah I need your love,
I need your love.
Yes I can tell you babe,
I need your love.
Today is a brand new day, yes it is.
Got to get your love back, babe,
come on now bring it back to me.
Turn it around babe, turn it
around and bring it back.
Yeah, yeah, oh yeah, got to get
your love back, come on babe.
Yeah I can hear your young
voice calling me babe.
Come on back to me, come on back,
yeah yeah, turn it around.
Oh yes I can, yes I can.
